          HR Round Table

          BIMTECH’s 32nd HR Round Table

           

           

          Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) organised its 32nd HR Round Table on 13th December, 2019 at Hotel Taj Santacruz, Mumbai, in association with National HRD Network and Deloitte as Knowledge Partner.

          BIMTECH has been organizing these HR Round Tables in most of the senior Metros every year like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, etc. In order to reach a larger group of Indian HR professionals. This was prompted by the vision of BIMTECH “Developing ethical leaders with entrepreneurial and global mindset striving for sustainability and inclusive growth”. The theme and sub-theme therefore, selected are based on current developments as well as the future direction that human resource function is taking. Hence this keeps on updating and changing with that natural flow of change that is taking place in the global and Indian economy

          In the course of 9 years, 31 such HR Round Tables have been organized already, in which more than 150 HR Leaders from corporates, as well as academics, have been present and contributed, reaching and benefitting more than 4500 HR professionals.

          The Theme of the Round Table this year 2019 – 20 was “Leading the Social Enterprise: Reinvent with a Human Focus” with the Sub-theme “Leadership for the 21st century: The intersection of the traditional and the new”.

          The program commenced with the Welcome Address by Prof. Akhil Pandey, Chairperson – CMDC, BIMTECH, who set the tone for the discussion.

          The panel discussion on the Sub-theme " Leadership for the 21st century: The intersection of the traditional and the new” was moderated by Mr Badari Narayana, Director - Organisation Development and Talent Acquisition, Deloitte India, who raised many pertinent questions and sought the opinions of the Panelists on those issues.

          The panel this time consisted of the following women Leaders from Industry:

          • Ms Carmistha Mitra, Sr. Vice President, Chief Learning Officer, AXIS Group
          • Ms Deepali Mathur, Head Human Resource, Being Human (The Mandhana Retail Ventures Ltd.)
          • Ms Mamta Srivastava, Director - Learning & Organisation Development, Virtusa
          • Dr Ritu Anand, Sr. Vice President, Chief Leadership & Diversity Officer, TCS
          • Ms Sudarsana Sanyal, Asst. Vice President, Learning and Development, Tata Projects Ltd

          During the Q&A session, many remarkable questions were raised by the audience and precisely addressed by the Panelists. Mr Dhananjay Singh, Director General, NHRDN, proposed the Vote of Thanks

          The event was attended by around 140 Professionals, including BIMTECH Alumni, from Industry and Academia, which also included senior and middle-level HR professionals from organizations like Aditya Birla Group, TCS, NTPC, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, JK Paper, HUL, Nerolac, SBI, Essar Projects, HDIL, Nielson, Tata Capital, Indusind Bank, Reliance Industries, Kotak Group, RPG Life Sciences Ltd, IDBI Bank, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company etc.


           


          BIMTECH’s 30th HR Round Table

           

          Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) organised its 30th HR Round Table on 9th August 2019, at Hotel the Leela Ambience, Gurugram, in association with National HRD Network and Deloitte (Knowledge Partner).

          BIMTECH has been organizing these HR Round Tables in most of the senior Metros every year like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, etc. In order to reach a larger group of Indian HR professionals.           The program commenced with the Welcome Address by Dr H. Chaturvedi, Director BIMTECH, Greater Noida, who set the tone for the discussion. Mr Nitin Razdan, Partner, Human Capital, Deloitte India, further presented the findings of Deloitte’s Survey report on “The alternative workforce”.

          The panel discussion on the Sub-Theme "The alternative workforce: It’s now mainstream” was moderated by Mr Nitin Razdan, who raised many pertinent questions and sought the opinions of the Panelists on those issues.

          The panel consisted of the following Leaders from Industry:

          • Mr Yuvaraj Srivastava, Group CHRO, MakeMyTrip (India) Pvt. Ltd.

          During the Q&A session, many remarkable questions were raised by the audience and precisely addressed by the Panelists.

          Mr Dhananjay Singh, Director General, NHRDN, briefed about the upcoming 22nd NHRDN National Conference scheduled to be held in Chennai.

          BIMTECH’s 26th HR ROUND TABLE HELD IN KOLKATA

           

          Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) organized the 26th HR Round Table on March 16, 2018, at Hotel Hindusthan International, Kolkata, in association with National HRD Network and Deloitte as Knowledge Partner.

          BIMTECH has been organizing Round Tables since 2011. This was the Fourth HR Round Table of the year 2017-18. 

          The Theme of the Round Table was “Rewriting the rules for the digital age: Reinventing HR” with the sub-theme “Leadership Disrupted: Pushing the Boundaries”.

          The program commenced with the Welcome Address of Dr. H Chaturvedi, Director BIMTECH, Greater Noida, who set the tone for the discussion. Mr. SV Nathan, Partner & Chief Talent Officer, Deloitte India, further presented the findings of Deloitte’s Survey.

          Prof K K Sinha, an accomplished HR Person and curator of these Round Tables along with Prof. Akhil Pandey,  Dr Manosi Chaudhuri, Head HR at BIMTECH were instrumental in bringing the conglomerate together for this event. 

          The panel discussion on the sub-theme "Leadership Disrupted: Pushing the Boundaries” was deftly moderated by Mr. SV Nathan, who raised many pertinent questions and sought the opinions of the panelists on those issues. 

          The Panel consisted of Mr. Asim Basu, CEO, Hindustan Motors; Ms. Preeti Das, Executive Vice President, Sunderland Global Services; Mr. Sourav Daspatnaik,CEO, Swach Environment Pvt. Ltd & Mr. VC Agrawal, President – Corporate HR, RPG

           During the Question and Answer session many striking questions were raised by the audience. All queries were addressed very precisely by the panelists, thus, making the event very informative.

           The 26th Round Table was well represented by over 175 industry and corporate HR Professionals, Academicians, Entrepreneurs and senior Alumni.
